End Citizens United // Let America Vote Endorses Will Rollins for Congress

Sep 27, 2023

Rollins is part of ECU // LAV’s first slate of congressional challenger endorsements this cycle, signaling the critical importance of this race

End Citizens United (ECU) // Let America Vote (LAV) today endorsed Will Rollins for Congress (CA-41) as part of its first House challenger endorsements for the 2024 cycle.

“Will Rollins is a champion of democracy who will protect voting rights and root out corruption in Washington,” said Tiffany Muller, President of ECU // LAV. “Unlike Representative Calvert, one of the most corrupt members in Congress, Rollins will always put Californian families first and believes our government should work for the people—not for special interest groups and extremist mega-donors. He refuses to take any corporate PAC money to show families in the district that he is only accountable to them. We’re excited to endorse Will and we look forward to helping him win.”

“As a former federal prosecutor, I’ve seen the long-lasting damage corruption has done to democracy and am ready to shine a light on dark money in our politics,” said Will Rollins. “That’s why I am refusing to take any money from massive corporations—as a promise that I will only ever work for the people and prioritize the issues that are affecting families most. I’m proud to be endorsed by End Citizens United // Let America Vote and look forward to working alongside them to protect voters’ voices at the ballot box and get Big Money out of our elections.”

Will Rollins knows our government works best when the voices of the people—not just wealthy special interests—are heard. He rejects corporate PAC money and will work to overturn Citizens United. He’s an advocate for better transparency and accountability in our government, supporting legislation like the DISCLOSE Act, the Freedom to Vote Act, and the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

ECU // LAV is dedicated to combating the two biggest challenges facing our democracy: the corrosive impact of Big Money and attempts to block access to the ballot box. Since its founding in 2015, the group has had over 1 million donors and raised $200 million, with an average donation of just $14. The group has more than 4 million members nationwide.
