End Citizens United // Let America Vote is launching “Running on Reform,” an on the ground look at the impact that real people feel at the hands of our broken political system and what leading reformers are doing to fix it. In races across the country and at all levels, regular people are fighting back against Washington’s rigged and corrupt system that works great for corporate special interests but leaves regular Americans behind.
The first video in the #RunningOnReform series is from Rep. Katie Porter. In 2018, Rep. Porter flipped a tough district in Orange County, California running on cleaning up corruption and refusing corporate PAC money. Once elected, she led the fight to help pass H.R. 1 and has continued to be a champion for democracy reform in her district and in committee hearings.
In 2020, End Citizens United is committed to re-electing reformers like Rep. Porter and building on our success by electing more reform champions who are rejecting corporate PAC money and fighting to ensure Washington works for everyday Americans.
