“Our hearts are with the community and the families torn apart by yesterday’s tragedy. Last night’s mass shooting in Boulder was our country’s second in six days. It simply doesn’t have to be this way. Americans want Congress to put politics aside and take meaningful steps to reduce gun violence in this country. This needs to be an inflection point that forces change and saves lives.”
