“As a lifelong champion of workers and democracy, Richard Trumka dedicated his life to fighting for a more equal and just nation. There are working families all across the country who are better off because of the hard work that Richard Trumka did. He took the labor movement to new heights and his leadership and his courage to fight for the dignity of workers will be forever missed. Our thoughts are with his family, the AFL-CIO, and everyone who was fortunate enough to have met and worked with Richard.”
