End Citizens United // Let America Vote Action Fund President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on being sworn in as a member of the Supreme Court:
“Today is a monumental day for our country. Now sworn in, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has made history as the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. She will be a justice who will fight for the constitutional rights of all Americans, not just the rich and powerful, and will ensure every Americans’ freedoms are protected and voices are heard.
“As this last week has proven, we need more justices like Justice Jackson on the Supreme Court, who reflect the values of the American people, instead of catering to extremist partisan interests. We congratulate Justice Jackson on her swearing in and are excited for her to start her work serving on the Court.”
