End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement on a new report in The Bulwark detailing how RFK Jr. may have violated campaign finance laws in his attempt to extort the Natural Law Party, which he ultimately hijacked:
“RFK Jr. has no regard for the integrity of our democratic process and campaign finance laws. Resorting to extortion and manipulation to hijack the fringe Natural Law Party demonstrates his willingness to break every rule and exploit every shady loophole to achieve his third-party fantasies.
“These alarming revelations raise serious red flags and are potentially campaign finance violations. He must be investigated immediately because he’ll continue to deploy every unethical and dishonest tactic in the book to further his deranged personal ambitions. RFK Jr. presents a clear and real danger to this election and we will continue to do everything we can to hold him accountable.”
