End Citizens United Stands with Rep. Harder and Rep. Cox Heading to the General Election

Mar 04, 2020

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on news that Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) and Representative TJ Cox (CA-21) are advancing to the general election:

“Since their first day in office, Congressman Harder and Congressman Cox got straight to work cleaning up Washington by co-sponsoring and helping to pass the For the People Act, the most sweeping anti-corruption and government ethics bill since Watergate. Time and again, both Congressmen have demonstrated their commitment to transparency and making government work for California families. ECU looks forward to making sure Rep. Harder and Rep. Cox stay in office so they can continue the incredible work they’ve started.”

ECU endorsed Harder’s re-election campaign and Cox’s re-election campaign in March 2019 as part of the group’s first round of House incumbent endorsements. Harder and Cox ran on a platform of reform in 2018 and showed leadership in the passage of the For the People Act (H.R.1). The reform group has four million members nationwide and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
