This is the result of a coordinated $1.1 billion, billionaire-backed, dark money effort to capture the courts and take away reproductive freedom.
Now, Republican Senate candidates like Herschel Walker are running to enact draconian restrictions that would criminalize doctors for providing safe medical services, punish people for having abortions in their home states, including banning it even in cases of rape, incest, and if the life of the person is in danger. Herschel Walker wrote that he supported outlawing abortion without exceptions for rape or incest. Walker said his position is “I believe from the womb to the tomb.”
The stakes of the 2022 elections could not be higher. Voters in Georgia have a clear choice between an extremist in Herschel Walker, who wants the government to make healthcare decisions for people in Georgia, and Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, who will protect reproductive health care and ensure that every person in Georgia has the freedom to make their own medical decisions.
