“This International Women’s Day, we honor the women who have and continue to blaze a trail toward a gender-equal world. Their sacrifices have empowered women to become political figures, movement leaders, and change makers.
“We also recognize the work ahead of us, especially during a time when women’s rights are increasingly under attack. Women around the world are still struggling for access to the ballot box, better education, reproductive freedom, equitable pay, and more.
“As we honor the story of women across the world who have fought valiantly for the freedoms we celebrate today, we are committed to fighting for a world with gender equity in every society.”
