Kelly Loeffler, Wealthiest Senator, Pretends To Know What It’s Like to Worry About The Next Paycheck While Enriching Herself

In a recent ad released to address economic anxieties in Georgia due to the coronavirus pandemic, Senator Kelly Loeffler claims to know what “it feels like waiting on that paycheck.”

Chaser:
Kelly Loeffler is the wealthiest member of Congress, but a bombshell report by The Daily Beast suggests that the unelected senator is evading higher taxes on her multi-million dollar home. This is the latest in a slew of scandals where Loeffler has skirted the law to enrich herself instead of looking out for Georgia families.

How Kelly Loeffler Uses Her Money and Power to Cut Corners and Get Richer:

With no explanation or logical reason, the value of Loeffler’s home mysteriously dropped by 60%, reducing her and her husband’s tax bill by over $100,000:

  • Loeffler and her husband, New York Stock Exchange Chairman Jeffrey Sprecher, bought their house in 2009 for $10.5 million dollars, the most expensive sale of a private home in Atlanta’s history.

  • After 7 years of the house remaining at the same value, $10.5 million, in 2016 it dropped suddenly to $4.15 million.

  • This dramatic decrease in value led to a cut in the property tax bill. Loeffler and her husband went from paying $200,000 annually to $90,000 in 2016.

  • During a real-estate boom, houses in the Atlanta metro area increased by 81% in value between 2012 and 2020. Yet the Loeffler/Sprecher estate mysteriously dropped.

  • There has been no comment or explanation from county authorities, Loeffler, or the Loeffler campaign on this seemingly impossible drop in worth of this property.

Loeffler bought her seat in the Senate and still broke the law when asking for, you guessed it, more money:

  • After a private meeting with Governor Kemp, Loeffler pledged $20 million of her personal wealth and submitted a last-minute application for the seat in the Senate.

  • Despite her endless money and promise to use her personal funds, as Senator, Loeffler solicited donations from the U.S. Capitol. Doing so was a violation of Senate rules that prohibit the solicitation of contributions in federal buildings.

While millions suffered, Loeffler allegedly used her access to insider information to try to profit off the pandemic:

  • January 24, 2020, Loeffler attended a private Senate briefing on the coronavirus and the implications the disease could have.

  • Also on January 24, 2020, Loeffler and her husband started dumping seven figures worth of stock.

  • In February, Loeffler and her husband invested six-figures in companies that were likely going to benefit from the pandemic.

Kelly Loeffler hasn’t had to worry about her next paycheck for some time. In fact, she had enough millions lying around that she was able to pay for her seat in the Senate. Now, in her unelected position in the Senate, she’s refused to push for more coronavirus relief for Georgia families and instead used her power to do what she’s always done best: make herself more rich.
