In 2020 Senate battleground race, Kelly announces he won’t take a dime of corporate PAC money
In conjunction with his Arizona Senate bid announcement, Mark Kelly pledges to refuse corporate PAC contributions.
“By rejecting corporate PAC money, Mark Kelly is proving to Arizonans that he’s listening to them and that he’s accountable to people — not corporate special interests,” said ECU President Tiffany Muller. “He’s showing bold leadership from the get-go and we’re thrilled to see him make the commitment. Last cycle, we saw a wave of reformers win because they ran reform-focused campaigns and swore off corporate PAC money. With Mark’s leadership, this movement continues to surge.”
Mark Kelly writes on his campaign website, “This campaign is about the people of Arizona, not corporate PACs and the mess they’ve created in Washington. I won’t take a dime of corporate PAC money, and I’ll only answer to Arizonans.”
