New Ad: Jared Golden Has Kept His Word to Mainers by Staying Tough on Corruption

Sep 22, 2020

End Citizens United (ECU) today launched a new ad campaign in ME-02 that highlights Jared Golden’s record as a champion of anti-corruption reforms in Washington. Golden, who rejects corporate PAC money, helped pass H.R.1, the toughest, most sweeping anti-corruption bill passed by the House in more than 50 years – a bill that cracks down on corruption in both parties.

Titled “Hard Work”, the ad is part of a nearly $400,000 ad buy that will air on broadcast and cable TV from September 22-October 5.

“Jared Golden made a promise to not get tangled up in the corruption that consumes Washington, and he’s kept that promise. Whether it’s his refusal to take corporate PAC money, his leadership in the passage of H.R.1, or his plan to fix a broken Washington, it’s obvious Jared is working for everyday Mainers, not the corporate special interests,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “Mainers have an honest and accountable leader in Congressman Golden, and we look forward to helping re-elect him so that he can continue the incredible work he’s started.”
