Torres is part of a new generation of Bronx leaders and is rejecting corporate PAC money
Ad will run from June 17 – June 23
End Citizens United (ECU) today launched a $50,000 digital ad buy supporting Ritchie Torres in NY-15. The ad, titled “Our Community,” exposes Torres’ primary opponent, Ruben Diaz Sr., as a Republican pretending to be a Democrat who invited President Trump to visit the South Bronx. The ad also highlights Torres’ commitment to his community, from being raised in public housing by a single mother in the South Bronx to proving he’ll put their interests first in Congress by rejecting corporate PAC money.
“Ritchie Torres is a progressive champion who will fight for South Bronx families in Congress,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “While Ruben Diaz Sr. stands with Donald Trump, Ritchie is rejecting corporate PAC money and has stood up to Big Money special interests by investigating the President’s corrupt business practices. Ritchie Torres is the Democrat who will deliver for the South Bronx.”
The ad will run from June 17 through June 23 on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.
