New AP report finds Mowers voted in both NH and his home state of NJ in 2016 GOP primary
Matt Mowers thinks he’s Born to Run in whichever state he wants. A new report from the AP found that Mowers voted twice in the 2016 GOP presidential primary, once in his home state of New Jersey, and again in New Hampshire. In February 2016, Mowers, who was then the New Hampshire State Director for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, voted in the GOP NH presidential primary. In June of that year, Mowers moved back home to New Jersey, registering to vote at his parents house and casting a ballot in the June NJ GOP presidential primary, his second vote of the 2016 primary. Voting twice is a crime and legal experts say that Mowers could be getting a visit from a Jersey State Trooper any day now.
Mowers might want to live out his Glory Days in his native New Jersey, but the people of New Hampshire won’t be Blinded by the Light. They know that Mowers is just another corrupt, hypocritical, carpetbagger politician who is Dancing in the Dark with the law. From his Hungry Heart for Big Pharma, to his Secret Garden of dark money backers, and now his likely illegal double voting in 2016, Mowers is just a Jersey boy trying to bring his corruption into New Hampshire.
Fortunately for Granite Staters, they won’t be Waitin’ on a Sunny Day for long, because Congressman Chris Pappas is Tougher than the Rest. During his time in Congress, he’s led efforts to pass the most significant anti-corruption and voting rights bills in generations. He refuses to take corporate PAC money, proving his dedication to fighting only for New Hampshire families, not wealthy corporate special interests.
