The $300,000 ad campaign holds Vega accountable for taking the side of violent criminals on January 6
End Citizens United released a new TV ad today in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District. The $300,000 ad highlights how Yesli Vega defended the violent criminals on January 6 who injured 140 cops and murdered 5 of them and then worried that those criminals were the ones being persecuted.
“Yesli Vega was more worried about the violent criminals who tried to overthrow our democracy than she was with the life of the police officers who died on January 6. If she can’t tell the difference between right and wrong when it comes to a violent, cop-killing mob, then she is too extremist to represent Virginia in Congress,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller.
The ad will run on cable and streaming TV in the Washington, DC media market through election day.
Full script of “Right from wrong”
Whose side were you on?
The cops who defended our democracy?
Or the criminals who tried to overturn it?
Yesli Vega defended these guys.
One hundred forty cops were injured.
Five lost their lives.
But Yesli Vega said these guys were just “exercising their First Amendment rights.”
Vega worried THEY were the ones being ‘persecuted’.
If Yesli Vega couldn’t tell right from wrong on this day, she’s the wrong choice on Election Day.
End Citizens United is responsible for the content of this ad.
