Nearly a month after End Citizens United (ECU) mounted a pressure campaign to get Republican members of Congress who took cash from Santos to donate the money to charity, one has begrudgingly given up his tainted Santos donation. However, 11 others, including Elise Stefanik, are still holding onto Santos’ corrupt money.
“Elise Stefanik needs to donate Santos’ money and do so now. Every day we learn more about his deceit, corruption, and unlawful finances. Stefanik knows Santos is a fraud, and she needs to put her money where her mouth is and give up his cash,” said End Citizens United Spokesperson Arik Wolk.
