Over 94% of End Citizens United // Let America Vote Endorsed Candidates Are Headed to November General Election

Voters made it clear during the 2022 primaries that they want Democratic candidates who are running to protect our democracy from extremist politicians and corporate special interests. That’s why over 94% of ECU // LAV endorsed candidates will be on the November ballot this election.

The state of our Democracy is as vulnerable as ever, thanks to extremist MAGA politicians pushing radical conspiracy theories that threaten our free and fair elections, and the corporate special interests that prop them up. The primary election victories from ECU // LAV’s endorsed candidates prove that safeguarding our democracy and taking on corporate special interests are issues that voters care about and that Democrats are running and winning on.

ECU // LAV’s primary victories by the numbers:

  • 94% of the ECU // LAV endorsed candidates will be on the November ballot.

  • 100% of ECU // LAV Endorsed candidates won their primaries on the state and local level.

  • In the top 10 most competitive Senate races, 6 out of 10 Democrats are rejecting corporate PAC money.

  • Nearly two-thirds of ECU // LAV-endorsed House candidates advancing to the general election refuse to accept corporate PAC money.

ECU // LAV also had important primary victories in close primaries that showed running on an anti-corruption message wins close Democratic primaries.

  • In PA-12, ECU // LAV made a five figure investment in digital ads to amplify Summer Lee’s track record of fighting corporate greed and protecting the freedom to vote. Lee won by under 1,000 votes.

  • In IL-03, ECU // LAV spent five figures on a series of direct mail campaigns to highlight Delia Ramirez’s record of fighting corruption and standing up to corporate special interests.
