End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on news that Representative Susan Wild (PA-07) is advancing to the general election:
“Representative Susan Wild is changing the way Washington works. She doesn’t take corporate PAC money and one of the very first bills she co-sponsored and helped pass was the For the People Act, the most comprehensive anti-corruption, voting rights, and ethics bill since Watergate. We look forward to making sure she stays in office so she can continue the incredible work she has started.”
ECU endorsed Wild’s re-election campaign in March 2019 as part of the group’s first round of House incumbent endorsements. Wild ran on a platform of reform in 2018, and showed leadership in the passage of the For the People Act (H.R.1). The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 7,400 in PA-07, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
