PA-17: End Citizens United and Let America Vote Stand with Rep. Conor Lamb Heading into General Election

Jun 03, 2020

End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on news that Representative Conor Lamb (PA-17) is advancing to the general election:

“Congressman Conor Lamb has established himself as a committed reformer who is working for Pennsylvania families. Conor won a competitive district in 2018 by rejecting corporate PAC money. In Congress, he co-sponsored and helped pass the For the People Act, the most comprehensive anti-corruption, voting rights, and ethics bill since Watergate. We look forward to making sure he stays in office so he can continue the incredible work he has started.”

ECU endorsed Lamb’s re-election campaign in March 2019 as part of the group’s first round of House incumbent endorsements. Lamb ran on a platform of reform in 2018, and showed leadership in the passage of the For the People Act (H.R.1). The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 7,200 in PA-17, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
