Republican Secretary of State candidate Pam Anderson continues to prove to voters that she is not fit to be Colorado’s chief election official. Anderson, whose campaign platform is centered around appeasing her extremist, conspiracy theorist GOP allies, is now opposing a bipartisan effort to debunk election disinformation.
In a bipartisan public service announcement, current Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold and former Republican Secretary of State Wayne Williams, who was Griswold’s opponent in the 2018 election and has endorsed Anderson, teamed up to bolster faith in Colorado’s free and fair elections. The PSA is a direct retort to the disinformation and lies that extremist Republicans have been promoting aimed at undermining faith in our elections.
“Pam Anderson’s objection to a PSA featuring a bipartisan effort to combat election disinformation is a tell-all sign of how she wants to run the Secretary of State’s office,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “The PSA represents what every chief election official should strive for: bolstering voters’ faith in free, fair, and secure elections. We applaud Secretary Griswold and former Secretary Williams for putting politics aside to combat the lies and conspiracies being perpetuated in Colorado.”
