Out-of-touch, out-of-state millionaires Oz and McCormick are fighting in a brutal legal battle to buy PA’s Senate seat
The never-ending Pennsylvania GOP Senate primary has been a brutal, chaotic battle between a New Jersey millionaire, Mehmet Oz, and a Connecticut millionaire, Dave McCormick. As these two continue to slug it out in a bruising and nasty recount and legal fight, let’s meet the two out-of-state GOP millionaires trying to buy Pennsylvania’s Senate seat:
-
In the New Jersey corner, standing on a record of scamming patients, backing a criminal conspiracy to overturn the will of the people, and support for overturning Roe, is Mehmet Oz, a millionaire who lived in New Jersey as recently as 2020 and is still registered to vote in New Jersey.
-
In Connecticut’s corner, standing on a record of outsourcing Pennsylvania jobs, getting rich off doing business with China, and raising property taxes on Pennsylvania families, is Dave McCormick, a Wall Street Insider who’s lived in Connecticut for the last 12 years and is running for office because he wants to help enrich himself and his wealthy, corporate friends.
“No matter who wins the brutal fight between New Jersey and Connecticut, both Oz and McCormick are out-of-state millionaires who are out of touch with Pennsylvania values. Whether it’s supporting a criminal conspiracy to overturn the will of Pennsylvania voters and efforts to deny Pennsylvanians’ freedom and right to privacy like Oz, or ripping off Pennsylvania taxpayers, eliminating jobs, and getting cozy with China like McCormick, neither of these millionaires represent the values and best interests of Pennsylvania,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote spokesperson Tina Olechowski.
