“The self-serving Republican politicians in the New Hampshire legislature are determined to rig the maps and dilute the voice and vote of New Hampshire voters with their egregious gerrymander. As Republicans themselves admitted while presenting their map, this proposal is nothing but a partisan attempt to gain political power and will deny the people of New Hampshire the fair and equal representation that they deserve.
“To curb this blatant partisan power grab, the U.S. Senate must quickly pass the Freedom to Vote Act, a commonsense compromise anti-corruption and voting rights bill that would end the practice of partisan gerrymandering.”
