The Chattah Files: Sigal Chattah’s Extremism Exposed – January 6

Oct 13, 2022

Nevada GOP attorney general candidate Sigal Chattah is one of the most extreme politicians ever to run for office in Nevada. That’s why her fellow Republicans, including former Nevada GOP Chairwoman Amy Tarkanian, endorsed Aaron Ford for re-election. They know Chattah is too radical and too dangerous for Nevada.

This next clip exposing Chattah’s extremism and conspiracies features her equating the attack on the Capitol to Black Lives Matter protests. In the same breath, she refused to acknowledge the deadly January 6th insurrectionists as terrorists and then justified the violent events that took place.

  • February 2022: “No, I dont think [the people who stormed the Capitol] were terrorists [or] any different from what we saw on Las Vegas Boulevard and a cop getting shot during the BLM protests [….] like I said, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”

Sigal Chattah’s ties to January 6 also include:

  • Donating $1,500 to Morning in Nevada PAC which was formed by Republican Adam Laxalt–the same person who downplayed the criminal conspiracy of January 6 and participated in legal efforts to sabotage election results.

  • Referring to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as her hero for suing to overturn the will of the people and speaking at the Stop the Steal rally.

  • Working with insurrectionist Joey Gilbert and suing a rural Nevada church over COVID-19 policies.

Nevadans need an attorney general who will be focused on protecting them and keeping communities safe, not someone who is too obsessed with their bizarre and extremist conspiracies to do the job.
