“Congresswoman Slotkin has dedicated her career to public service, whether it was during her time in the Pentagon or at the CIA where she served three tours of duty alongside our brave soldiers. She has represented her country honorably.
“While politics can be a cutthroat business, lying about Congresswoman Slotkin’s service and appreciation towards the men and women who have served this country–and protected her in Iraq–is distasteful, disgraceful, and shows how low Tom Barrett is willing to sink. Barrett must apologize immediately to Congresswoman Slotkin and the voters of the district.”
