Clock is ticking for Heller to stand with Nevada families
Washington DC — As Republicans prepare for another vote designed to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Senator Dean Heller has yet another chance to side with Nevada families instead of his Big Money donors. Given Heller’s long history of appeasing his biggest political donors, he’s expected to put the desires of the likes of Sheldon Adelson and the Koch brothers first.

Heller stamped his name onto the latest repeal bill not because it benefits his constituents, but because his donors are demanding it. After infuriating Nevadans with his decision-making process, Heller is doubling down on support for his big donors’ agenda. He’s appeasing the mega-donors who prop up his campaign.

Heller is abandoning Nevada families. The Graham-Cassidy-Heller bill would gut funding for his home state, put Nevadans with preexisting conditions at risk, strip healthcare from vulnerable Nevadans, and raise costs. It’s so bad that even Republican Governor Brian Sandoval has criticized this bill.
The clock is ticking. Heller has another chance to do the right thing by abandoning Graham-Cassidy-Heller. Could this chance be his last?
