With just one month to go until Election Day, we’re highlighting some of the biggest Republican scandals from this election cycle.
Doug Mastriano sure seems to wish he were running way down south to Dixie.Â
Long after his support of the Confederacy, Mastriano followed in their footsteps and tried to overthrow the union on January 6th.

Admittedly, Mastriano’s positions would fare better if he were making his stand in the 1860s than in Pennsylvania in 2022. Mastriano supports an absolute ban on abortion, ending marriage equality, and barring LGBTQ Pennsylvanians from adoption. Even Mastriano’s campaign has become something of a Lost Cause.
Mastriano may want to make his stand in Dixie Land, but it ain’t happening in Pennsylvania! We’re dedicating the Confederacy’s de facto anthem to Mastriano because we can only imagine this is what he was listening to when he made the mind-numbing decision to wear a Confederate uniform.
