Iāve been everywhere, man. Iāve been everywhere, man. – Ted Budd (probably)
With just one month to go until Election Day, weāre highlighting some of the biggest Republican scandals from this election cycle.
Corruption is a tiring line of work, but thankfully for Ted Budd, his dark money allies have treated him to several luxurious vacations to help ease the burden of being a sellout.
Budd has been a darling of dark money special interests throughout his career, which is why they spent $15 million to help him win the Republican nomination.
This summer, new reporting revealed that Budd ātook advantage of his positionā in Congress by taking a series of trips worth over $30,000 to destinations like Miami, Palm Beach, and Oslo, Norwayāall funded by corporate special interests. He stayed at āultra-poshā resorts where rooms cost a minimum of $900 per night, while taking thousands of campaign dollars from corporate special interests.
Even Republicans have said Budd is a weak candidate who is āwholly owned and operatedā by dark money groups.
As Budd plans his next special interest-funded trip, weāre dedicating Johnny Cashās rendition of āIāve Been Everywhereā to him because we can only imagine thatās what heās jamming out to, while raking it in from dark money special interests.
