Following the $1.6 million ad buy from the Koch brothers backed network attacking Tammy Baldwin, Adam Bozzi, Communications Director at End Citizens United released the following statement:
“Throughout her career, Senator Tammy Baldwin has fought for tax cuts for the middle class and to make sure hard-working Wisconsin families have a fair shot. The Koch brothers’ smear campaign is just another example of out of state special interests and big money donors looking to stack the deck in their favor and increase their bottom line – an attack made possible by the rigged system in Washington. Unfortunately for the Kochs, Senator Baldwin is a proven independent voice for Wisconsin and doesn’t cater to the special interests.”
Threatened by Senator Baldwin’s fierce advocacy for middle class Wisconsinites, special interests groups, including the Kochs, their Super PACs, and secretive dark money groups, have already spent $4.2 million on false and misleading negative attacks against her during the 2018 cycle.
