The endorsed candidates include: Representatives Raúl Grijalva (AZ-03), Ro Khanna (CA-17), Jim McGovern (MA-02), Lori Trahan (MA-03), Ayanna Pressley (MA-07), John Sarbanes (MD-03), Rashida Tlaib (MI-13), Ilhan Omar (MN-05), Deb Haaland (NM-01) Nydia Velázquez (NY-07), David Cicilline (RI-01), Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) and Mark Pocan (WI-02).

“Voters are fed up with politicians in Washington catering to corporate special interests while the needs everyday Americans are ignored by Mitch McConnell and Republicans in Washington,” said ECU President Tiffany Muller. “These reformers are listening to their constituents, challenging the status quo by refusing corporate PAC money, and passing the most comprehensive anti-corruption and reform legislation since Watergate. They’re demonstrating what real leadership looks like. ECU is proud to endorse these leaders, and we look forward to helping them get reelected.”

ECU is dedicated to getting Big Money out of politics and fixing the rigged system in Washington so government works for all Americans. The reform group spearheaded the movement among candidates to forgo corporate PAC money in their campaigns. Fifty-eight members of the 116th Congress are refusing to take corporate PAC money, including 36 members of the House freshman class. The reform group has four million members nationwide and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
