The Headlines: The Reform Movement Takes Hold in 2018 as Voters Look for Bold Action to Unrig the System

As voters’ anger with Washington’s pay-to-play politics and culture of corruption grows, and Republicans in Congress caught flat-footed having to defend their tax breaks for corporations and mega-donors, a wave of Democratic challengers this cycle seized on the opportunity to redefine their party and take on the rigged system. These candidates are running on a message focused on reform and ending the influence of big money in politics.

Over the past two years, End Citizens United and its four million grassroots members have helped these candidates push the narrative on reform and reimagine the way the Democratic candidates fundraise, leading a movement to reject corporate PAC money and run a grassroots powered campaign.
