End Citizens United is launching a new ad in Missouri in support of Jason Kander, who enlisted in the Army after September 11th and deployed to Afghanistan as an intelligence officer. The ad also holds Senator Roy Blunt accountable for his career of looking out for himself, lobbyists, and the special interests.

“While Jason Kander was serving his country in Afghanistan, Roy Blunt was serving his own interests in Congress,” said Tiffany Muller, End Citizens United Executive Director. “A longtime member of the Washington establishment, Senator Blunt has become part of the problem. He’s helped protect a system that’s rigged in favor of the special interests at the expense of middle-class families, voted to raise his own pay, and opposed campaign finance reforms that would end the flow of unlimited and undisclosed money in our elections. After more than 20 years with Roy Blunt in Congress, it’s time for a change. Jason Kander will fight to make sure that everyday Missourians come first.”

Backup for the ad can be viewed here.
