By the Numbers: Big Q3 for No Corporate PAC House & Senate Candidates

Oct 21, 2019

A New Wave of candidates powered by small-dollar donors

The third-quarter fundraising numbers are in and it was another standout quarter for reformers in House and Senate races. Democratic candidates rejecting corporate PAC money, taking on corruption and fighting to fix our broken campaign finance system are putting up big fundraising numbers. Hundreds of thousands of small-dollar donors are powering this new wave of reformers and putting their campaigns on a path to victory.

For the third straight quarter, DCCC Frontline members who pledged to refuse corporate PAC contributions out-raised, on average, the Frontline members who accept them. Raising $547,227 in Q3, $27,000 more than the average for Frontline members who accept corporate PAC money, which was $519,559. This proves once again that refusing corporate PAC money does not limit your ability to raise the money you need to compete.
