Q3: Incumbent Reformers Have Massive Fundraising Hauls

Oct 16, 2019

All 22 candidates are DCCC Frontline Members running for reelection in battleground districts

FEC filings show that 22 ECU-endorsed candidates in battleground districts raised more than $400,000 in the third fundraising quarter of 2019. These reformers are cultivating grassroots support by rejecting corporate PAC money and building people-powered reelection campaigns.

“These 22 reformers are rejecting corporate PAC money and are powering their campaigns with small donors,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “Their massive fundraising hauls in the third quarter prove that winning battleground districts is possible by focusing on grassroots support without being beholden to big corporations. These reformers are part of a movement committed to rooting out government corruption. They passed the For the People Act, the most sweeping anti-corruption and government ethics bill since Watergate. End Citizens United is proud to support these 22 incumbents for reelection, and we thank them for their continued effort in paving the way for more transparent and accountable leadership.”
