Earlier today, Cruz made up a tall tale that O’Rourke is taking money from PACs. Unfortunately for Cruz, the facts aren’t on his side. According to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC), O’Rourke has received $0 from PACs.
Beto O’Rourke is running a true grassroots campaign, and he’s doing it without a dime from special interest PACs.
Cruz is clearly bitter about being outraised by $5.8 million, especially because all of Beto’s contributions come from real people and Cruz has had to rely on millions in PAC dollars over his career.
