End Citizens United // Let America Vote Slams Supreme Court’s Failed Attempt at an Ethics Code

Nov 13, 2023

‘A Code of Conduct is only as strong as its enforcement mechanisms and the Supreme Court continues to have none’

End Citizens United // Let America Vote Action Fund President Tiffany Muller released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s attempt at instituting its first ever Code of Conduct:

“A Code of Conduct is only as strong as its enforcement mechanisms and the Supreme Court continues to have none. Reiterating past policies that have been blatantly ignored by the justices only further proves that they aren’t up to the task of policing themselves. It’s clear that in order to truly root out corruption and rebuild trust in the institution Congress must act to pass real ethics reform.”

End Citizens United // Let America Vote Action Fund has been leading calls for Congress to pass the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, & Transparency (SCERT) Act. For a list of exposés detailing corruption and the justices’ financial conflicts of interests, click here.
