Republican incumbents in some of the most competitive House races in the country have raked in hundreds of thousands in corporate PAC money. As we previously posted in Special Interest 101: How to Calculate Corporate PAC Money, there’s not currently a public website that has this information available for the entire careers of politicians. Maplight has this excellent breakdown of corporate PAC money taken by candidates in the 2018 election cycle.
While there’s a movement among Democratic House challengers to reject corporate PAC money, some of Washington’s politicians who are responsible for rigging the system to favor their donors have taken hundreds of thousands, even millions, from corporate PACs.
