(Roll Call) A question of ethics: The campaign finance overhaul group End Citizens United filed a complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics, asking for an investigation of Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s possible interactions with an outside super PAC. The Congressional Leadership Fund, which is aligned with House GOP leadership, said it would not spend money in open seat primaries in GOP House districts as a condition for support for McCarthy’s speaker bid from the conservative Club for Growth.
