With weeks to go until Election Day, we’re highlighting some of the biggest Republican scandals from this election cycle.
With his neverending pay-to-play corruption scandals, it seems like as long as Brian Kemp has a couple of stacks in his pocket, his donors can do whatever they like.Â
He never has to worry because his corporate sugar daddy allies and wealthy friends will always have his back for the right price.
In one instance, the wealthy CEO of a medical marijuana company gave $50,000 to Kemp’s re-election campaign. Coincidentally, it wasn’t long until Kemp’s allies chose the CEO’s company to be only one of six companies permitted to produce and sell medical marijuana in Georgia. Another report found that weeks before Kemp appointed Tom Bradbury and Tim Evans to the state Board of Regents, the two men and their families gave over $300,000 towards Kemp’s re-election.
Clearly, his donors know it’s nothin’ to drop a couple stacks on him, especially if they get what they like.
Kemp’s history of corruption and pay-to-play is why we’re dedicating “Whatever you Like” by T.I. to him, because as long as Kemp appeases his special interest donors, he won’t need anybody, including the voters of Georgia.
