With just under a month to go until Election Day, we’re highlighting some of the biggest Republican scandals from this election cycle.
Georgia voters and Brad Raffensperger have a complicated relationship because he doesn’t want to count on voters, he wants to count on extremist anti-voter laws.
What’s the point of overseeing elections when you don’t want people to vote? Apparently, to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, some people don’t deserve the freedom to vote.
Raffensperger championed Georgia’s S.B. 202, which limits access to the ballot box through a host of anti-voter measures, including criminalizing handing out water to voters waiting in line and closing drop boxes. Thanks to Raffensperger, you can count on 1, 2, 3 hour long lines to vote.
Clearly, he has no issue with restricting the freedom to vote, because for Raffensperger, he doesn’t want all Georgia voters to have a say, just certain friends.
That is why we are dedicating “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars to Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Secretary of State. If he can’t count on voters, he will count on taking away the freedom to vote.
