With just weeks to go until Election Day, we’re highlighting some of the biggest Republican scandals from this election cycle.
Mehmet Oz radiated the vibe of rich fashionista Cruella De Vil before news broke that because of Oz, for 329 pups, the dog days are over.
Oz’s research violated the Animal Welfare Act, written to protect animals during experimentation, leading to a fine from the USDA after Oz ensured that for 329, their dog days are done.
Cruelty aside, it’s possibly the first report of Oz’s claims being backed by any scientific basis at all. Oz has a robust history of touting snake oil when it lined his pockets. And Oz wants to repeal the ACA, which would cut actual useful healthcare for millions of Americans.
That’s why we’re dedicating Florence + The Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over” to Dr. Mehmet Oz, and why we are proud to have endorsed John Fetterman who will run fast for our sisters and our brothers.
