Biden to Talk About Extremist GOP Threat to Our Democracy and Freedoms

New poll shows 67% of Americans see the nation’s democracy in peril

As more voters see extremist threats to our democracy coming from MAGA Republicans, President Biden is giving a speech tonight in Philadelphia, outlining the danger that these radicals pose to our democracy and our freedoms.

Democrats should continue to highlight the extremist MAGA GOP threat to our democracy ahead of this year’s midterm elections. It’s a fundamental contrast with Republicans pushing radical and extreme policies to take away our freedoms and undermine our free and fair elections.

“The extremist MAGA Republicans running for office nationwide threaten the foundation of our democracy and the freedoms we cherish. The freedom to vote and the freedom to control our own reproductive health are on the ballot this election,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “This is why Democrats need to be running on holding the GOP accountable for their extremism this November, and why President Biden will plainly lay out the case that MAGA Republicans are putting our democracy on the line.”
