End Citizens United (ECU) has launched a nearly $5 million program that will last through Election Day to elect candidates who support campaign finance reform.
“With new momentum behind Democrats across the country, ECU will help ensure we elect reformers who will work with President Hillary Clinton to overturn Citizens United,” said ECU Executive Director Tiffany Muller. “We’re investing in key states on behalf of candidates who will stand up to the powerful special interests and restore the American people’s voice in our democracy.”
End Citizens United is investing $4.7 million in U.S. Senate and House races through its independent expenditure (IE) across the country over the final four weeks of the campaign, beginning with an ad that went on the air this week in Missouri that exposes even more revelations about Roy Blunt’s cozy relationship with lobbyists.
