In response to President Biden’s democracy speech in Arizona today, End Citizens United // Let America Vote (ECU // LAV) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement:
“We applaud President Biden for his unwavering commitment to safeguarding our democracy and making it a cornerstone of his campaign.
“The President’s speech underscores the critical juncture at which our nation stands––one that demands our collective attention and commitment to action. The rise of election denialism, MAGA extremism, and dark money undermines the very foundation of our democracy. We must tackle this threat head-on and remain steadfast in this pursuit. We echo President Biden’s call to action and renew our commitment to doing everything we can to defend democracy.
