End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on North Carolina’s Supreme Court reconsidering Harper v. Hall:
“The new extremist Republican majority on the North Carolina Supreme Court wants to put partisanship above fair and equal representation and long-standing precedent. Their reconsideration of this case is purely political and will likely be used to silence voters and keep North Carolina’s state and federal Republicans in office.
“We urge the Court to uphold their prior decision and the rule of law by upholding Harper v. Hall.”
