End Citizens United and Let America Vote Congratulate Dan Feehan on Advancing to General Election

Aug 12, 2020

End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Dan Feehan on advancing to the General Election in MN-01:

“A veteran, teacher, and national security expert, Dan Feehan has fought on behalf of his country and community throughout his career. In his campaign for Congress, Dan is proving he’ll prioritize the needs of Minnesotans, not corporate special interests, by building a grassroots-powered campaign and rejecting corporate PAC money. Meanwhile, Congressman Jim Hagedorn narrowly won his campaign in 2018 and has since become just another sold out politician in Washington after less than two years in office. Dan is the only candidate in the race who will fight to lower the cost of prescription drugs without being beholden to corporate special interests. We’re proud to stand with Dan Feehan’s campaign, and we look forward to helping him win.”

ECU and LAV endorsed Dan Feehan in October 2019 because of his commitment to unrigging the broken system in Washington. Unlike Rep. Jim Hagedorn, a Big Money 20 incumbent whose taken $230,000 from corporate PACs since serving a single term in office, Feehan rejects corporate PAC money. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 4,600 in MN-01, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
