End Citizens United and Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement congratulating Desiree Tims on winning the Democratic primary in OH-10:
“Congratulations to Desiree Tims. By rejecting corporate PAC money, Desiree is building a grassroots-powered movement and proving she will be accountable to Southwest Ohioans, not corporate special interests. In Congress, Desiree Tims will lead the fight against voter suppression and the outsized influence of money in politics. We are proud to stand with her heading into November.”
End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) endorsed Desiree Tims in February 2020 because of her commitment to ending corruption in Washington. Tims is rejecting corporate PAC money and running a people-powered campaign for Congress in Ohio’s Tenth Congressional District. The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 6,900 in OH-10, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
