End Citizens United and Let America Vote Launch New Slate of Ad Campaigns in Competitive Districts

End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) launched a slew of TV, digital and direct mail ad campaigns across the country totaling nearly $1.4 million. The ads target Congresswoman Ann Wagner in MO-02, Congressman Don Bacon in NE-02, Yvette Herrell in NM-02, Andrew Garbarino in NY-02, Congressman Steve Chabot in OH-01, State Representative Andrew Lewis in PA HD-105, and four Republican incumbents in the Texas House. 

MO-02:
This $240,000 television ad buy in Missouri’s Second Congressional District reminds voters that Congresswoman Ann Wagner has left Missourians behind by helping herself and her corporate special interest donors get ahead. The broadcast, cable TV, and streaming ad campaign will begin October 20 and will run through October 27. Click here for more information.

NE-02: 
This $200,000 television ad buy focuses on Congressman Don Bacon’s close ties to Big Oil and Gas. The ad informs voters that Bacon has taken over $164,000 from the oil and gas, natural gas pipeline and mining industries and voted to repeal the Clean Water Rule, which protects drinking water for one out of every three Americans. The television ad runs October 20 through October 27 on broadcast, cable TV and streaming. Click here for more information.

NM-02: 
These new digital and TV ads totaling $300,000 remind voters that Yvette Herrell is a corrupt politician who can’t be trusted to stand up to the corporate special interests that bankroll her campaign. NY-02: 
This $100,000 digital ad campaign reminds voters of Garbarino’s shameful voting record and his ties to Big Pharma and health insurance PACs via the tens of thousands of dollars he’s accepted in campaign contributions. OH-01: 
The $100,000 direct mail campaign in Ohio’s First Congressional District exposes how Congressman Steve Chabot’s schemes of using his political connections to enrich his own family, in addition to voting with President Trump 95 percent of the time, have hurt Ohio families. PA HD-105: 
This $81,000 digital ad and direct mail campaign exposes how Pennsylvania State Representative Andrew Lewis has abused his power by attacking the integrity of Pennsylvanians’ votes when he attempted to form a commission to change election rules and undermine democracy. The digital ad will run October 20 through Election Day. The first mail piece dropped October 19. Click here for more information.

Texas House:
The $370,000 TV and direct mail campaign supports four House Districts across the state of Texas. The TV ads will support Sarah DeMerchant (HD-26)Lorenzo Sanchez (HD-67), and Brandy Chambers (HD-112), and the direct mail campaign targets Republican incumbent Sam Harless (HD-126), who is being challenged by Natali Hurtado.
