End Citizens United and Let America Vote Stand with Rep. Jason Crow Heading into the General Election

Jul 01, 2020

End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on news that Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) is advancing to the general election:

“Congratulations to Congressman Jason Crow. Jason won this competitive district in 2018 while rejecting corporate PAC money, proving that he’d be accountable to Colorado families in Congress. From helping pass the For the People Act, a comprehensive ethics, anti-corruption, and voting rights bill, to introducing the End Dark Money Act as his first bill in Congress, Jason has made rooting out government corruption a priority in his first term. Jason is building a people-powered campaign and we look forward to re-electing him so that he can continue the incredible work he’s started.”

ECU endorsed Crow’s re-election campaign in March 2019 as part of the group’s first round of House incumbent endorsements. Crow, who ran on a platform of reform in 2018, rejects corporate PAC money and showed leadership in the passage of the For the People Act (H.R.1). The reform group has four million members nationwide, including 9,200 in CO-06, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
