End Citizens United and Let America Vote Statement on the Passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Sep 19, 2020

End Citizens United and Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller released the following statement:

“Words cannot adequately express what Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg meant to our country, our Supreme Court, and the fight for women’s equality. We take courage and heart every day in our fight to protect our democracy from her life’s work fighting for a more just democracy. Her bold and eloquent opposition to the Citizens United decision and defense of voting rights has always been an inspiration. We are sending her family our deepest sympathies and the goodwill of our four million members across the country.

“Senator McConnell should adhere to his own standard and allow the next President to fill her seat. He should know that American women prize our hard won rights and we will not go back. We march forward and we will fight to protect her legacy and her seat at all costs. Mitch McConnell should recognize this and honor her legacy – or ignore it and lose his majority.”
