End Citizens United (ECU) announced new staff hires for the 2020 cycle:
Chintan Patel will serve as Vice President for Political. Before joining ECU, Chintan worked for the past six years in direct mail consulting, most recently as Vice President at Moore Campaigns. He has also served as a key political staffer and field director for high-profile Senate and Congressional campaigns. In these roles, Chintan worked with progressive allies, labor unions and local activists to direct winning campaign strategies.
Porsha White will serve as Vice President for Voting Rights and State Organizing. Porsha has worked on political campaigns on all levels, from mayoral to US Senate to presidential. She served as the Public Policy Manager at Planned Parenthood Southeast, then became the National Political Director for Let America Vote. Porsha joins ECU after being the Deputy Political Director for Deval Patrick 2020.
Dorien Paul Blythers will serve as Political Director. Most recently, Dorien served as Regional Political Director for Senator Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. He began his career in electoral politics as a field organizer for Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election. Since then, Dorien has worked for Transportation for America, the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Hillary for America, and Fearless For The People PAC.
Josh Cooper will serve as Deputy Research Director. Josh previously served as Deputy Research Director for Senator Doug Jones’ campaign, and in the 2018 cycle worked on the JB Pritzker for Governor campaign. His past research experience also includes work for Beehive Research, and the Democratic Party of Illinois.
Joy Kudia will serve as Deputy Digital Director. Joy previously served as the Social Media Content Manager and Email Strategist at the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Prior to the DNC, she interned for Planned Parenthood Advocates in Missouri and was an organizing fellow for Hillary for America.
Scott Fay has been promoted to Vice President of the End Citizens United’s Action Fund, the groups grassroots advocacy wing. He previously served as Action Fund Director.
